How do I register in the app?

Ampler is in the process of moving to an in-house built connectivity platform, which means new firmware, mobile application and backend systems. In this period of transition, there are bikes that are running the previous firmware and the new one, which means two apps are available simultaneously for some time.  I am using the new Ampler App

If you have an account on our previous app, you will nonetheless have to register a new account through the new app. The databases are unfortunately not connected. Before uninstalling the previous app, make sure to delete your account via the profile settings or by e-mailing the developer.

Once you download the new app, your options to register depend on your phone's operating system. If you are using an iPhone, the app will ask you to register with your Apple ID or phone number. On Android, you can use your Google e-mail or your phone number.
If you chose to log in via phone number, a code will be sent to you via SMS, after which you are able to log in. Note that you might not receive the SMS or that costs may apply when you are travelling.

You can register an account in the app either via e-mail and a chosen password, or you can link your Strava or Facebook account. If you choose the latter two options, your e-mail and password for the next login are the same as the ones on these platforms.
