The motor assistance slowly cuts out as you approach 25 km/h to create an easier transition, and then disengages. Once the motor is switched off, an Ampler bike can be ridden without motor assistance like a classic bicycle.
This is due to a mechanical clutch inside the motor. This also applies when the battery is empty or you do not switch on the e-bike.
What happens when I run out of battery?
Once the battery goes empty, you can just continue riding your Ampler e-bike like you would on a normal bike.
The lights will stay on for two more hours.
Once you plug in the charger again, the battery is fully charged within 2.5 hours.
