COVID-19 had a very significant impact on the supply chains within the bicycle industry, thus some components are either not available for the unforeseeable future or available at a much later date than usual. This is due to production shortages or delivery issues from our suppliers. We are trying our best to make do within these circumstances and can luckily react quickly within our own assembly line and once we have components available, will be able to ship very quickly.
Are the shipping dates reliable?
Within the circumstances, we keep those dates as reliable as possible. The shipping dates you see when choosing your desired bike and configuration reflect the date we expect to receive components from our suppliers plus the assembly time we need.
Of course, this date is updated daily and can change regularly depending on the stock which has consecutively sold out. However, if the date on the homepage changes, this does not mean that there will be delivery delays for bikes that have already been ordered.
Will I be kept up to date?
You can see the order status through the link we send you in every automatic e-mail you receive from us after you bought the bike. Once the bike leaves the warehouse, you will receive a tracking link and it will take 7-14 days for the bike to arrive at your door. Learn more about the delivery process here.
The status page says "waiting for parts" for quite a while now
This means we are actually waiting for parts :) Please be patient, we don't want to send you a bike without a brake or shifting.
In order to compensate the delay and avoid even longer lead times, we made some minor changes to our components. Have a look at it here. If you are currently waiting for a bike, it will have so-called "facelift" components.
